Promis clinical research study
The PROMIS Study has finished recruiting. It is designed to evaluate the safety and efficacy of an inhaled antibiotic in patients with Non-Cystic Fibrosis Bronchiectasis (NCFB) and Pseudomonas aeruginosa infection. Read more about the study and the disease.
The PROMIS Study hopes to show that the inhaled antibiotic reduces the number of exacerbations in a year compared with a placebo treatment (a placebo looks like the study drug but does not contain any “active” medicine and is used as a “control” in clinical studies like this one).
